Greater Des Moines Public Art Foundation Reports a New Project in Clive, Iowa

The City of Clive, Iowa announces a “Call to Artists” for it’s Art Along the Trail program to begin in 2012.  Clive’s Public Arts Advisory Commission (PAAC) is starting an annual exhibition by which works of art are displayed along Clive’s Greenbelt Trail during the summer months. Six locations for pieces to be displayed and each artist who has their work selected to be a part of exhibit will receive a $1,000 stipend. In addition, at the end of each year’s exhibition the City will select one of the six pieces of art work to be purchased for the City’s public art collection and located in a permanent location somewhere in the City of Clive. The application deadline is Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at 5pm.
