Always Together
The phrase “Always Together,” featured in Ricardo Gonzalez’s (“It’s a Living”) 2024 mural, represents Des Moines as a community and the unity of the city. The mural was commissioned by the Greater Des Moines Public Art Foundation and Operation Downtown. Gonzalez’s text-based artworks are featured globally and have been commissioned by such organizations as Google, Apple, and Coca-Cola.
