Artist Mia Pearlman — along with Vito Acconci, photographer Marilyn Minter, and with help from SOFTlab — were featured in a performance that played out on the façade of the New Museum in NYC.

"Let Us Make Cake" was projection-mapped onto the New Museum in 2011, marking the first time projection was used to animate the entire 174-foot facade.

Let Us Make Cake was a collaborative projection directed by Nuit Blanche New York and Light Harvest Studios. Dozens of artists were asked to interact with scale models of the New Museum, embracing the building as both a canvas and vessel. The resulting footage was projection-mapped onto it facade.
