Aboriginal artist Lena Nyadbi is a humble woman, but there’s nothing shy and retiring about her latest massive work which can be seen from the top of the Eiffel Tower. It was reported today, June 6, 2013, that as she climbed the Eiffel Tower and spied her art work on the roof top of a museum more than 1km below, Lena Nyadbi burst into tears!

Lena Nyadbi was born circa 1937 at Walmanjilukum (Greenvale Station) in the East Kimberley, Austrialia. In the 1980s she witnessed the genesis of the region's contemporary painting movement. By 1998, after many years of living and working in the Aboriginal community of Warmun, Nyadbi began painting independently.
