Internationally acclaimed artist Andy Goldsworthy’s project at The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art brings to fruition his long-held vision to build a stone wall that moves across the landscape. The artist and his crew are working in five stages to hand build the wall, then unbuild it and move it stone by stone across the landscape.
Titled ‘Walking Wall’, this public art project is moving from a five-acre stretch of land east of the museum, onto the museum campus, and ultimately into the museum, drawing its way through the museum’s grounds.
