The Bay Lights is an iconic light sculpture designed by world-renowned artist Leo Villareal. This stunning fine arts experience will shine from dusk until 2:00 a.m. on the San Francisco Bay Bridge West Span from March 5, 2013 through 2015.

Attaching 25,000 Lights to The Bay Bridge

The world’s largest LED light sculpture will light up San Francisco: 1.8 miles long, 500 feet high, and consisting of 25,000 individually programmed lights tied onto the entire length of the Bay Bridge’s western span, the Bay Lights Project represents a massive melding of technology, art, and the city.
